Who We Are

A Family Business
D & G Cabinet Company is a third-generation family business built on tradition, hard work, and the love for the craft of woodworking. We learned the trade the way many family businesses do, at a young age. Many late evenings, long weekends, and countless hours were spent in our wood shop working along side our dad. He taught us the skill of cabinet building, but more importantly, the value of honesty, patience, and pride in your work. This shaped us into the men who we are today.
Our passion for woodworking didn't stop when we left the shop. We carried it into high school, enrolling in wood shop classes learning from dedicated teachers and hardworking tradesmen who became important role models in our lives.

Our parents raised five children, and three of us, Josh, Zach, and Nate continued the cabinet making legacy after our father passed away in 2015. Following his passing, Josh and Zach purchased the family business, committing to the work, values, and standards that had been passed down to us. The transition hasn't always been easy. There are still many times we wish we could pick up the phone and ask for his advice and wisdom.

Both Josh and Zach have competed on a national level for the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America (Skills USA), they have both earned the National Gold Title in Cabinet Making. In 2019, Zach relocated to Delta, Colorado, where he opened his own cabinet shop. Though miles apart, we remain close, continuing to support each other and problem solve as follow craftsman and brothers.
Nate, the youngest, works alongside Josh and has become his right-hand man, learning every part of the cabinet making process and carrying the family forward to the next generation.
Family businesses require patience, dedication, and trust, but they offer something rare and meaningful. With every project, we have the opportunity to honor our dad and grandfather by continuing the trade that was passed down to us. This more than just our job, it's our family legacy.
